Dry Eye Analyzer Interferometry

The lipid layer is crucial for tear film stability. Interferometry measures its thickness by analyzing the interference patterns of white light reflected from the lipid layer's surface; fewer colored fringes indicate a thinner layer.

Exam Procedure:

  1. Install Lens A or B. (B recommended)

  2. Position camera to view lipid layer.

  3. Press capture to record, instructing the patient to blink every 2 seconds for 2-3 blinks.

  4. Click analyze to compare images to software references.
